Why I Switched from React to Vue for Side Projects

After years of React for everything, I gave Vue a serious try for personal projects. Here is what surprised me.
Vue's single-file components feel natural. The template syntax is readable without being limiting. And the reactivity system is genuinely intuitive - no useEffect mysteries, no useState everywhere.
The DX Difference:
Vite plus Vue is fast. Really fast. Hot module replacement is instantaneous. The ecosystem has matured beautifully - Pinia for state, Vue Router, and Nuxt for SSR.
The verdict: for content-heavy sites and rapid prototyping, Vue is my default now.
